Dr. Morris graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio in 1977 and was inducted into AOA - a national honor medical society reserved for the top 10% of each graduating medical class.  She then moved to Gainesville, Florida for her four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida.  Missing Texas, Dr. Morris returned to her home state to set up private practice in San Antonio in 1981.  She has been a well-respected Ob/Gyn in the community ever since.  In 2003 Dr. Morris relinquished her Obstetric practice to devote more time to her 2 sons, Colin and Taylor, and to concentrate on her Gynecologic practice.

Just as having children herself broadened and deepened her knowledge base in obstetrics, her personal journey through menopause has enabled her to better understand and address the needs of her menopausal patients.
